Guild builds the best 12-String guitars. Very clean and in excellent plus condition. I have always taken meticulous care of this guitar. The neck is straight, with Guild's maple/walnut/maple neck with double truss rod design. The back is arched, another part of Guild's design. These guitars are works of art.

The same guitar is still made by Guild today with the F-412 model number. Made in 1990, this is one of the last of the original Westerly, Rhode Island Guild guitars. Back in 1987,Guild decided to change the name of their top of the line maple bodied 12 string guitars from the F-412 to the JF65-12. It wasn't until about 10 years later, under new ownership, that they decided to change the model name back to the F-412. Through the name transitions the specs remained unchanged.
